SRX22560149: Whole-Genome Sequencing of Genomic DNA: Shoot of 14-Day-Old Maize (Zea mays) Inbred Line A648
1 BGISEQ (BGISEQ-500) run: 29.4M spots, 5.9G bases, 4Gb downloads

Design: DNA was extracted from the shoots of eight A632 maize seedlings, which were collectively pooled for this purpose. Following extraction, the sample underwent RNase treatment to remove any residual RNA. This prepared sample was then sent to BGI Company, specifically for PE100 sequencing. The sequencing process yielded approximately 87 gigabases (Gb) of data. This substantial data volume is significant as it provides coverage of roughly 2.5 gigabases of the maize genome, ensuring comprehensive genomic insights.
